Heating with radiators - a modern alternative to
heat source

If someone wanted to briefly describe radiant heating, they would have to give an example

sun. The only difference is that in the latter case you are dealing with one

of the stars of the solar system. Here are the most interesting information that relates to

infrared heating.

Radiation - a well-known physical phenomenon

The panels, which operate on infrared, ensure an even distribution of temperature in the room

room. Sometimes they are compared to old tiled stoves, which were also in

able to provide this temperature. Surprisingly, other traditional heating methods (eg.

radiators) are not able to provide such a phenomenon. Infrared heaters resist

based on a well-known physical phenomenon that is able to ensure an optimal climate in

all rooms.

The difference between convector and infrared heating is what it is

it is really heated first. The first heats the air, and only then

then objects and people. Infrared waves work on the opposite principle, thanks

which creates a much better atmosphere in the room.

Types of infrared radiation.

However, one must not forget that in the scientific world one is really dealing with

several types of infrared radiation. This is important because some waves

infrared can be harmful to humans:

● short-wave radiation - they are marked with 700 and 1500 nm, they are

clearly visible and with prolonged use may become harmful to the eyes;

● short-wave infrared lamp radiation - the difference is that in their

special attenuation filters are used;

● medium-wave radiation - from 1500 to 4000 nm, they are not visible or there are few

visible, they are safe to use, they are used to heat designated areas

seats;

● long-wave radiation - from 4,000 to 15,000 nm, they do not emit light at all, so

those that can be found in saunas, at home and in the office.

So it is already known that heating with radiators is a long wave, the temperature of which

can be 100 degrees, and the power density is 3kW.

Electric infrared heating.

Infrared electric heating is a great alternative to such heat sources

such as: powered by a gas stove, eco-pea coal, pellets, etc. Contrary to appearances, modern

radiators are not that expensive at all. Even when you consider the costs

investment, operation and service, you may be quite surprised at how it will be

with the return on investment. Anyway, just look at the statistics, which is clear

they say that infrared heating is second only to pumps

warm. At the same time, as long as heat pumps based on solar panels are taken into account. NO

You can also ignore the fact that radiant heating is very easy to install and

it also does not require complicated renovation works.

Which infrared heating to choose?

Infrared panels are the most commonly used. These are long-wave heat radiators.

They work great not only in single-family homes. You can successfully

can also be used in apartments. Why are they so popular? Because

just hang them on the wall by plugging them into an electrical outlet. You can

they can also be mounted on the ceiling, between the coffers, where they perfectly “blend into the background”.

Infrared heating foils and mats may not be that popular, but they do a great job

itself as underfloor heating. Although, if someone wants it, they can eat it

mounted on the walls, where they will take care of the even distribution of heat. Often

you can meet with mats and foils in the case of motorhomes, where they are integrated into

the wall.

A real curiosity is that not only people can benefit from this type of heating.

Often, such a source of heat is also based on animal husbandry and farming

plants.
